It is important for us and our environment to reduce the use of chemical agents to the smallest possible extent.
Due to rising labor costs worldwide and the increasing difficulty in hiring staff for tending and harvesting, we see a great need for mechanization around special crops. We will rise to these challenges and continue to advance the development of environmentally friendly and cost-saving technology for reducing chemicals.
We work closely with the local producers and regularly provide them with prototypes to ensure that the machines are developed in a practical way. This is how we ensure that we meet the requirements of the market and our customers.
History
On March 15th, 2007 the company Fruit-Tec, owned by Adolf Betz, was founded in Deggenhausertal. The main activity of the company was the manufacture and sale of the mechanical flower thinning machine DARWIN. Thanks to the quality of our work and the satisfaction of our customers, we have been able to develop quickly and steadily. With the start of production of the EDWARD cutting machine, we moved to the Fritz Ziegler area in Markdorf in November 2010. At the beginning of 2021 we relocated production and administration to our new building in Salem-Neufrach. In 2022, the sole proprietorship was transformed into Fruit Tec GmbH.
Present & Future
In addition to machines for fruit growing for thinning, cutting and defoliating, our repertoire already includes machines for removing excess side shoots and leaves of hops, as well as machines for gentle vine cleaning in viticulture.
In the future we will continue to do everything we can to find further solutions and further developments in order to simplify and mechanize work around special crops.
